I had an AMAZING time sharing a show with the intrepid Terri Hendrix and the nimble Lloyd Maines (even if it was about 100 fricking degrees in the shade and no, the show was not in Texas). I had a career moment when, after staring intently at my left hand while I showed him some of my drop "C" tuning chops, Lloyd proclaimed me to be "a fine musician". Coming from Mr Maines I felt this to be such high praise that of course I had to brag to y’all about it here. Terri has learned a harmony for my song, "Heart of My Own", with Lloyd chiming in with some very soulful slide guitar. What can I say? Paradise!

I shared a couple of shows with my pal Carlitos Olmeda and did we ever have a grand time. See Chris Peterson’s drawing of us playing at Strings here. Celebrating Songwriters celebrated its One Year Anniversary at the Larkspur Cafe Theatre in grand style. Ten of the songwriters from last year's series came down and put in a couple of tunes each, we had a capacity crowd and way too much fun.
