Hard Drive Crash
Festival Madness
CCMC
Lark in the Morning

THE DETAILS

Hard Drive Crash. I was brutally initiated into the devastating world of this
file contains no data. Thats right, everything just….gone. If you had requested to be unsubscribed and you are receiving this email you were also a victim of the dreaded crash. Please choke back your scorn and just hit this link and type unsubscribe one more time. Apologies. oh. One more thing. Back It Up folks.

Festival Madness
I have been a festival hopping fool this summer and really enjoyed seeing
Donovan at the Kate Wolf Festival in Laytonville, CA. I think they had their
largest crowd ever this year! It was bloody hot at the Wildflower Festival in
Richardson TX and I was reminded why I was born with heat rash. Nevertheless I had a great time playing for the folks. Im just home from the Strawberry Festival where I ran into my old pal Dan Hicks. The weather was sublime and so was the pickin. Bela Fleck and Stanley Jordan? My pal Joe Craven described how hot their set was with his comment, Get a room! I have to say though, my most inspiring moment was during Steve Earles set. If you havent already, go check out his song (A poor boy fighting) A Rich Mans War.

CCMC
California Coast Music Camp. Another initiation. Camp life!! I had an incredible time getting to know all the CCMCrs and teaching several folks how to make their own music. You owe it to your musical Self to attend this wonderful camp with this amazing
community of people/pickers. Start planning for next year! Please check out the blog page on my fabbo new website for photos and further braggage.

Lark in the Morning
After my week at CCMC in Gualala I took the opportunity to visit my friends
Bill and Debbie Taylor, owners of the highly international Lark in the Morning music store based in beautiful Mendocino, CA. Visit them online to find any, and I mean ANY musical instrument and instruction on how to strum/strike/shake/pluck/squeeze it.

Visit the new website!!
My song, The Big Picture was requested by one of the students from CCMC so I decided to chart it up for the pickers corner. Go check it out and let me know if you have any questions. Photos and the sweet details about my birthday show on the blog page. Click on the photos to view them at a bigger size. www.carenarmstrong.com
