it is GOOD to be doing something for the first time, it helps me to remember to cultivate my beginner's mind. as i blog my first blog for my wonderful new website, i am readying for a pilgrimage back to the place of my birth, Dallas TX. as i sit here on this misty gray day in northern California, looking forward to playing for the folks at the wildflower festival, i try to imagine the mighty heat that is Texas. if i'm lucky i will get a thunderstorm, the kind that is only to be found in flat states, complete with 360 degrees of sheet lightening. (just not when i am on the plane, okay??) maybe it is because i was born there, but something big ALWAYS happens to me when i go to Texas. i wonder what it will be this time????
